Blog post task
I chose a movie to analyze, a musical movie I enjoy called Begin Again. Different from traditional adventure movies, it does not have very clear Hero types, but it can still be analyzed.

Story arc
When divided into 2 parts, It’s a process of going from routine to breaking the peace and getting back to routine. Breaking it down into eight parts. As the film has two main characters, Dan and Gretta, the story is different for the two of them.
You: Two frustrated people
For Dan, his family was unhappy, his marriage unhappy, his career frustrated — he was unhappy with the state of the music industry, but his partners didn’t support him.
For Gretta, her singer boyfriend was cheating on her, and she had no place to live.
Need: Seeking change but without direction
For Dan, as a music producer, he hates the pop artists that are being packaged right now, and he seek someone who he want and make really good music. But the reality let him down, can only be drunk in the bar.
For Gretta, She tried to walk out of the shadow of brokenhearted, looking for a way to release, under the guidance of friends to go out to the bar.
Go: Two people meet and a new idea of music
For Dan, he had found the singer he really wanted, and he wanted to make music for the female lead.
For Gretta, She met people who appreciated her and opened up new avenues for her.
Search: A band of frustrated people
Their search for Dan’s former music production company was rejected, so they decided to rely on their own, find the same frustrated people to form a band and record songs on the streets of London.
Take: A city tramp album
During the recording process, they encountered many difficulties, such as the eviction of public security and complaints from residents, but their album was finally completed. They also gained a lot in the process.
Return: Reface past failures
Dan reconnected with his wife and daughter during the filming.
Gretta puts everything behind her and finds the courage to confront her ex-boyfriend.
Change: Start a new life
They sold the album for a song. Dan returns to a normal but better life. Gretta chose not to get back together with her ex-boyfriend and start a new life.
